Nice location. Hotel is near The Topkapi Palace, Hagia Sofia,Blue Mosque, Grand Bazar and very near from tram station. Big breakfeast and very good. Great price. The restaurant downstairs is very good. The staff in reception and restaurant are friendly and helpful. Nice atmosfere.
Value for money, helpfulness of staff and great location
Unfriendly Stuff, We booked a double bed room with single occupancy, and my girl friend couldnt stay for just one hour in my room. Furthermore we just get a single bed room, which was very small and not clean. Check in was between 12.00 and 12.30, but we had to wait for our room more then an hour...I would not recommend this hotel..
Emin hotel has a perfect position for visiting the old town and the main attractions. The staff is very kind and always ready to help.
Good Location and that's all
We stayed in these Hotel around one week and we didn't like: Hotel staff are not friendly and do not want to talk with you in any case Pictures and reality are total different If you ask for Make up the room-They change only towels, nothing else We live on the 3-d floor, and we hear what's going on on the 2 and 4-th floors too. We didn't like the breakfast because every day same: bread, butter, jam, boiled cold eggs, cheese, cucumber and some tomato. Rooms are really small, bed in the middle of the room. And distance between bed and wall less than 1 meter. When we check in into the room the floor was dirty, I ask what is it? But no body tell me and they just walk away. We will never come back to these Hostel Hotel
We really enjoyed our stay at the Emin hotel. It was priced very reasonably and the location - just a 5 minute walk to the Aya Sofya and Blue Mosque - could not be beat. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms are super basic (our bed took up most of the room), but we only went there to sleep so it was perfect for our needs. The breakfast was nice, typical of what you might find in Greece or Israel - a spread of cheeses, sliced vegetables, yogurt, bread, etc. And I liked that they didn't rush to take it away, they left it until almost 10:30.
I have no complaints but just a note for others who might care: the tv only has Turkish stations and if you want your room made up you have to let the front desk know and leave your key with them. I actually really liked that system. Don't expect a luxury hotel and you will be really pleased - great value for the money.
Nice, very friendly, low cost, close to Aya Sophia, Topkapi palace..
The hotel staff were very very nice, helpful, and enthusiastic. They gave us maps of the city and pointed out sights and arranged for a cab to the airport and daily wake up calls. The hotel is in a perfect location close to everything. The breakfast in the morning was good.
It was very simple hostel like accommodations. The room was very small, the sheets were very rough, the tv was fairly ancient, there weren't instructions for the phone, etc.
I can warmly recommend Emin Hotel
the location is almost perfect, you can walk to all the major interesting places in Sultanahmet, and the pier is within a walking distance as well. the staff in the hotel are very kind and helpful.
noisy, small room, waiter at hotel restaurant brought the following bill : 21LT+6LT = 28LT :)))))
Very friendly personal.
They use pretty turkish magic lamps for lighting. Unfortunately it was not possible to read with this magic.
First the location for visiting Sultanahmet area is GREAT. Everything is on 5-10 min walking.... The bosphours is so close, the restaurant is cheap and the food is really good. For me it was pretty good small vacation and relax with the turkish people and style......
The staff was extremely nice. They would offer me tea when I came back to the hotel and chat with me. It was nice having the restaurant downstairs. Free internet was awesome. For the money I spent for a single room, it was more then worth it. Location was perfect, walked to everything: Hippodrome just up the road, grand bazaar short walk, short walk to the ferry. Right off the Gülhane station, so easy to get around and to the airport. It was cold in Istanbul in Feb-March, it was nice having a warm room to warm-up in. I saw and was told about improvements to the hotel, I think its nice to see they were investing and improving.
location and good breakfast
small room, coll water in the bath
